Emmy-nominated Main Title for Apple TV+
Based on Isaac Asimov’s timeless sci-fi trilogy, the opening title sequence transports you to a galactic dreamscape filled with rich imagery.
Subtly referencing the cosmic environments depicted from the trilogy itself, we infused vivid 3D animated designscapes with bursts of radiant particles–building an ethereal title sequence that’s out of this world.

The long-awaited adaptation of the beloved Rick Riordan series gets a main-on-end title sequence fit for the Gods. Journey through a mural depicting American landscapes, ending of course at Olympus—in New York City. It’s wall-to-wall fantasy and adventure from Disney+.
The iconic themes of Percy Jackson’s world are reimagined as images that could live in the lobby of the Empire State Building. Merging Greek mythology with American landmarks, we take the audience on an epic road trip in classic Art Deco style. By hinting at the moments that speak to Percy’s story, the sequence has plenty for fans to discover.

Imagine a dystopian future where humans no longer have eyesight. That is the premise of SEE– and the starting point of our main title design. We worked closely with the show’s blindness consultant to create the aesthetic and sound design behind the sequence, delving into a dimension beyond sight.
This title sequence was a technical dance, created in X-Particles within Cinema 4D, rendered out in Octane, and then brought into After Effects. We created a visual language drawing inspiration from ropes, walking canes, and echo-locating clicks.

The landscape of cybersecurity has changed, and to understand how these hackers work you have to think like one. The security team at Google does just that to keep us safe. Detailing the inception and unpacking the deception, we worked with Google Creative Lab developing a subset of 3d graphics for their six episode docuseries alongside their design and animation team. This is the story told through experiences that decode the countless invasive attacks of internet hackers over the past decade and the lengths Google will go to ensure web safety.

At the intersection of law, lust and disorder is the life of Jax Stewart. She’s the most brilliant and fearless defense attorney in Los Angeles who bucks the justice system at every chance she gets. We took it to the courtroom, the living room and the streets of LA for our main title of Hulu’s series Reasonable Doubt, Produced and Directed by Kerry Washington, that follows Jax as she juggles personal and professional drama to bring order to her life.
Showrunner Raamla Mohhamed tasked us to create a sequence that would put a lens on the complicated life of her main character, so our opening for Reasonable Doubt is both a portrait of Jax and a distinct perspective of her LA. Inspired by classic album covers and silk screen designs, stylized windows shift to show a voyeuristic view of Jax’s personal and professional life. Set to a soulful score by Adrian Younge and Ai Shaheed Muhammad, we travel from her home in the Baldwin Hills to the high powered law corridors of Century City. As Anglenos ourselves, we enjoyed shooting and incorporating the parts of the city known to locals⸺such as Ladeira Heights, and the oil fields off Stocker. Split screens change the boundaries constantly, moving through juxtapositions as easily as Jax does…yet, like her, always a move away from the brink of collapse.

Inspired by Sony’s longstanding history of cinematic pictures, we met traditional with modern in a logo that speaks to both the storyteller and the audience. Scored to a surround-sound welcoming track, we draw viewers to the edge of their seats, anticipating the quality cinema to come. Giving the ‘3000’ an art-deco inspired charm while remaining minimal, we landed on a logo that hints to classic Sony elements while keeping a fresh perspective of the possibility that awaits on the big screen.

If there’s one thing that gets us to smile, it’s the way storytelling makes us feel. We partnered with David & Goliath to create a playful and vibrant mnemonic logo for Vizio’s rebrand. Airing across all digital platforms, our logo explores the viewer’s journey through the TV spectrum to invite all the feelings that arise when watching shows and movies. Humanizing a tech-focused brand, we used pulsing energetic light and gradient color bands as key foundational elements in the design. Embracing their tagline “watch us” we land on a charming yet refined brand identity that’s ownable and includes everyone in the entertainment experience.

For Season 2 the filmmakers wanted the title sequence to create a visual portrait of Jack Ryan. To showcase the nuanced personality that makes Jack ‘Jack’ we merged two concepts which reflect his world: Duality and Pattern Recognition.
The ‘Duality’ of Jack’s life is expressed through split screens revealing his experiences as civilian and soldier. This effect is coupled with ‘Pattern Recognition’ – the computer data and analytics that detail Jack’s personal life and military service.

Given the nature of Gabriel’s story, we needed to be careful not to sensationalize the graphic details surrounding his circumstances. In collaboration with Director Brian Knappenberger’s team at Luminant Media, we solved this challenge with a visual treatment that immortalized Gabriel’s spirit and honored his life.
Light and shadows sweep over symbols of Los Angeles’s governmental agencies, depicting Gabriel’s silhouette looming over the various institutions that ultimately failed to protect him. The title sequence juxtaposes the dark nature of the case with light, representing the hope that sharing his story may prevent it from happening again.

As EPIX likes to say, “Have we got a story for you.” With a slate of new original series available in more homes than ever before, EPIX wanted the network’s look and feel across all platforms reflect its premium entertainment experience. And that’s where our story of rebranding the network begins…
Together with the EPIX brand, marketing and executive teams we developed the network’s unique brand framework based on A Hero’s Journey in terms of emotional tone, visuals, and sound. Everything we created – visual identity systems, anthem films, talent promos – reflects the belief that a good story transports its audience.
