The Masked Singer S12 Toolkit
Approach
The Masked Singer is one of FOX’s biggest shows and is synonymous with spectacle, mystery, and high-voltage performances. For Season 12, I helped develop a design system that captured those ideas and brought the same on-stage energy the contestants deliver every week. The package leaned into a hyper-editorial pacing style that pulses with momentum, while neon lighting became a vibrant tool to inject fun, personality, and stage presence into every graphic.

Neon Design System
Developing a procedurally driven neon system that served as the core visual device, bringing to life 15 custom icons that represent each character of the season. This allowed the toolkit to feel both cohesive and playful, balancing brand clarity with individuality.
The system reinforced the show’s identity while remaining flexible and adaptable for weekly content cycles without losing coherence. The final package elevated the show’s theatrical tone and ensured that promos, in-show graphics, and social content all lived within one high-energy visual ecosystem.

2D Editorial Graphics
To further drive the energy in the edit, a 2D graphical language was developed that could be used as overlays throughout the editorial process. These elements acted as visual accelerators—amplifying transitions, punctuating musical moments, and giving editors dynamic tools to push the pacing even further.
